Young Scientists Club is hosting at South Mitcham Community Centre in February half term.

The children will participate in a series of activities, to enhance their learning through play.

February Half-Term Science Activity Camp
This February half term, our camp will be packed with hands-on science activities designed to spark curiosity and excitement!


🔬 Chemical Reactions
Children will explore exciting chemical reactions, create fizzy experiments, and learn about the different states of matter through fun, interactive activities.


🧠 The Human Body
We’ll learn about the human body, its different parts and their functions, followed by creative model-making using clay.


🍄 Nature Afternoon: Deadly Fungi
An engaging nature session focused on deadly fungi — discovering what they are, where they’re found, and why they’re dangerous.


🚀 Big Science Demos
We’ll finish with a spectacular Elephant Toothpaste experiment and design different rockets to test what makes them fly the highest!
